What came out was the idea of 'the box' where the layout for the releases would remain consistent but collage, illustrations, 3D typography, made up characters and found images could explode from the box and bleed into the record covers as if they were from another dimension.

We now have a kit of parts that can be adapted for all kinds of materials and the style really lends itself to animation.

I brought the eclectic collage elements to life with a combination of compositing in After Effects and 3D animation in Blender.
